About Redux Rehab

A dedicated NSW workplace rehabilitation provider

Two directors, more than twenty years of combined clinical and occupational rehabilitation experience, and a simple promise: the people you brief are the people who do the work.

Who we are

Redux Rehab Pty Ltd is a NSW workplace rehabilitation provider founded and run by two practitioners who still do the work themselves.

Andrew Ellis, Director

B.Sc (Exercise Science), M.Phty. Andrew is an AHPRA registered physiotherapist with a decade of experience across occupational rehabilitation, workers compensation and clinical practice, including senior rehabilitation consultant and WHS advisory roles, and years of treating injured workers day in, day out. He has worked every side of the scheme: treating, assessing, planning and advising employers. He is currently completing an Executive MBA at UNSW.

David Parkinson, Director and Senior Manager

BSc (Human Movement), Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. David is an ESSA accredited exercise physiologist with more than twenty years in exercise physiology and workplace rehabilitation, including running his own multidisciplinary rehabilitation practice and leading consultant teams delivering occupational rehabilitation services to employers.

How we work

  • Director delivered. Every referral is handled by Andrew or David personally. There is no junior bench.
  • Evidence based. Our approach follows SIRA's workplace rehabilitation framework, the biopsychosocial model and the Health Benefits of Good Work consensus: safe work is part of recovery, not a reward at the end of it.
  • Straight communication. Workers get plain language. Referrers get honest reporting, on time. Everyone gets the same story.
  • Governed properly. Privacy, conflict of interest management, quality review and complaint handling are documented, live systems, not shelf documents.

Our status with SIRA

Redux Rehab is progressing SIRA approval as a workplace rehabilitation provider for NSW workers compensation (Same Employer stream). CTP rehabilitation services do not require SIRA approval and are available now. We are open about this with every referrer, and this page will be updated the day our approval is granted.
